Government and Law Enforcement Data Request Policy
Updated August 11, 2026
This policy explains how Quantum AI Limited responds to requests from government authorities and law enforcement agencies for personal data or personal information processed through OrderOS.
Legal review
We review requests from government authorities, law enforcement agencies, courts, or other public authorities before disclosing any personal information. Where appropriate, we consult qualified legal counsel to determine whether a request is legally valid, properly authorized, sufficiently specific, and applicable to the information requested.
Challenging invalid or unlawful requests
Where legally permitted, we may refuse, narrow, seek clarification of, or challenge requests that are invalid, unlawful, overly broad, improperly authorized, or otherwise inconsistent with applicable law, including by seeking judicial or other available legal remedies where appropriate.
Data minimization
Where we are legally required to disclose information, we limit the disclosure to what is reasonably necessary to comply with the valid legal obligation. We do not voluntarily provide additional personal information beyond what the applicable legal process requires.
Documentation
We maintain appropriate records of government and law enforcement requests for user information, including, where applicable, the identity of the requesting authority, the date and nature of the request, the legal basis or process presented, the information requested, the legal review performed, the response provided, the information disclosed (if any), and the personnel or authorized representatives involved.
User notification
Where legally permitted and reasonably appropriate, we may notify affected users of a government or law enforcement request for their information. We will not provide such notification where prohibited by law or where doing so would interfere with a lawful investigation or legal proceeding.
Compliance with applicable law
We comply with valid legal obligations while taking reasonable steps to protect the privacy and rights of our users. This policy does not prevent us from complying with a legally binding obligation; it establishes that requests are reviewed appropriately before any information is disclosed.
